Suraj Kumar

Suraj Kumar is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and system performance monitoring. Currently employed at Rippling as a Software Engineer since August 2025, Suraj previously held the position of SDE 1 at JUSPAY from August 2023 to July 2025, where significant contributions included deploying Prometheus for system metrics monitoring and developing a secure ACL system with role-based access controls. Earlier experience includes an SDE internship at Namma Yatri, where a Driver Referral Program was launched, achieving notable increases in customer acquisition and driver recruitment, as well as various internships and roles focused on open-source development. Suraj holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, completing the degree in July 2023.
