Whitney Zack has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Whitney is currently the Head of Engineering Operations at Rippling, a position they started in October 2022. Before that, they worked at Reddit, Inc. from 2018 to 2022, where they initially served as an Engineering Manager and later as a Senior Engineering Manager. At Reddit, Whitney defined the multi-year mission and strategy for Core Platform, scaled up interviewer training and recruiting processes, and led the evolution of on-call rotations across Infrastructure. Prior to Reddit, Whitney was a Lead Software Engineer at MyFitnessPal from 2013 to 2018, where they were responsible for replacing the search architecture with Elasticsearch and launching a Kafka platform and data pipeline. Whitney also worked at Retiqueta as a Senior Software Engineer/Product from 2016 to 2017, where they helped launch new products and implemented various features to improve user engagement and sales conversion. Their work at Retiqueta resulted in a significant increase in sales numbers.
Whitney's earliest work experience was at Micron Technology, where they worked as a Software Engineer from 2012 to 2013.
