Mark Williams is an experienced technology architect and programmer with a career spanning over two decades in the video game industry. Currently serving as Principal Technology Architect and Studio Head at Ripstone Birmingham since January 2021, Mark previously held significant positions including Principal Programmer at Codemasters, where contributions were made to the F1 series, and Technology Director at VooFoo Studios Ltd., where Mark designed and developed the proprietary game engine Mantis, overseeing titles such as Hustle Kings and Pure Pool. Earlier experience includes roles at Juice Games, Rage Software PLC, Elite Systems, and co-founding Fortress Entertainment, where Mark developed the Amiga game "Max Rally." Mark holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Warwick.
