Phil Gaskell

Phil Gaskell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the gaming industry and grassroots sports management. Currently serving as Treasurer for Culcheth Athletic FC since September 2024, Phil manages the financial operations of a community football club that supports over 300 children. Previously, Phil held the position of Chairman at Culcheth Athletic FC from January 2013 to September 2023, overseeing the club's growth and operations. As Co-Founder and Creative Director at Ripstone since February 2011, Phil contributes to the development and publishing of games. Phil's prior roles include Senior Producer at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, where notable projects included Dead Nation and several PS3 titles, and Design Manager at iFone Ltd, focusing on popular franchises such as Lemmings and Sonic the Hedgehog. Phil's career began at SCEE in quality assurance, with further expertise gained in design and production roles at Warthog Plc and Psygnosis Ltd. Phil holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from The University of Bolton.
