After the federal government mandated the implementation of electronic health records (EHRs) in 2012, our founders struggled to find a system that could support an efficient, multi-system coordinated-care model for mental health providers. They identified that the key to such a model would be usability, ease of data access, adaptability to new treatments, and an outcome-focused design.

With these goals in mind, RipsyTech formed a team of expert technologists led by a physician programmer to design and code their flagship EHR platform: the Keep It Simple Psych Record (KISPR).
