Risala Update is a humble but bold journalistic intervention in our burgeoning digital media environment. This new online initiative from the publishers of Risala Weekly, a renowned magazine started by a students’ collective based in Kerala, aims at reaching out a wider Malayali reading community by reporting and analysing the emerging socio-cultural, political and theological issues that are critical for the peaceful and sustainable existence of our humanity on this planet. Since its inception in 1983 Risala Weekly has established itself as one of the leading magazines in Malayalam through its rigorous reportage & analyses that highlighted those issues that are unheard and under-reported.
