Steven Miller

Steven Miller has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT systems administration. Steven most recently worked as a Cybersecurity Lead Consultant at RISCPoint, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they were employed at CirrusMD Inc. from September 2021 to April 2023, where they served as a Cybersecurity & IT Systems Administrator. In this role, they led the security programs and improved the security posture of a digital telehealth platform. Steven also worked at ThreatX as a SOC Engineer II from September 2020 to September 2021, where they analyzed and counteracted cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Steven'searlier experience includes working as a Technical Support Analyst at Untangle, Inc. from February 2020 to September 2020.

Steven Miller completed their education at the University of Denver in 2019, where they obtained a Security Certification through their Cybersecurity Bootcamp program. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2019, they attended Colorado State University and obtained an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, Steven has obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Network+ in November 2020, CompTIA Security+ in December 2019, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in December 2020, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in February 2022. Steven is currently awaiting endorsement for the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA, expected in March 2023.
