William Bai

William Bai has over 28 years of work experience in the information security, cyber risk advisory, compliance solutions, and federal government industries. William has held various roles in different companies, including Executive Vice President Public Sector at RISCPoint, Director - Federal Practice Lead at A-LIGN, Director - Federal Cyber Security & IT Risk Management Services at Emagine IT, Inc., Cyber Warfare/Cyber Defense Subject Matter Expert and Student/Intern, MS Cyberspace Operations at United States Air Force. During their time at these companies, Bai has been responsible for developing secure cloud solutions, managing teams specializing in interpreting and applying DoD IA policy for Certification & Accreditation (C&A)/Assessment & Authorization (A&A), researching and advising on development, sustainment, improvement, and employment of cyberspace capabilities and forces, supervising and training personnel, configuring computer and communications equipment, executing system recovery operations, and coordinating remedial maintenance with field engineers.

William Bai has a comprehensive educational background in cyber operations, computer information systems management, cyber security, information systems technology, and computer science technology. Bai earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems Management from Colorado Christian University in 2003, followed by an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Cyber Security from Community College of the Air Force. Bai returned to the Community College of the Air Force and earned two more Associate of Arts and Sciences degrees in Information Systems Technology and Computer Science Technology in 2005. Bai later earned a Master of Science degree in Cyber Operations from the US Air Force Institute of Technology in 2010. In terms of certifications, Bai has achieved several including, Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) during their career in technology.
