Anders Lönnermark is the Director of Fire Protection at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, where they lead the Knowledge Centre on Fuel Storage Safety and focus on creating resilient cities and societies. They completed a PhD on the characteristics of fires in tunnels, and previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Mälardalen University. Anders has been involved in numerous EU projects and serves as a convener for several ISO technical committees related to safety in biofuels and recovered fuels. Their expertise includes performing fire experiments and studying fire emissions and safety in tunnels.
