Jon Summers is a Research Lead in Data Centres at Research Institutes of Sweden and an Adjunct Professor of Fluid Mechanics at Luleå Technical University. Currently, Summers is collaborating with colleagues at the University of Leeds to establish a centre of excellence focused on sustainable and energy-efficient data centre engineering. With extensive experience at institutions like Newcastle University and the University of Leeds, Summers has contributed to the development of significant research in thermal and energy management of microelectronic systems. Additionally, Summers chairs the Future Technologies Symposium committee for the Open Compute Project Foundation and serves as a board member for the Data Centre Alliance.
