Maria Hellström is the Director of Sustainable Food Systems at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, where they focus on sustainable consumption and production in agriculture and food. Previously, Maria held various roles, including Manager of the Gothenburg Climate Partnership at Business Region Göteborg AB and Project Manager for Sustainability at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications. With a strong background in energy and climate, Maria's experience includes customer sustainability management at Tetra Pak and a consultant position at Grontmij AB Sverige. They earned a Master’s degree in Energy and Climate from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and have completed several postgraduate courses in greenhouse gas accounting and project management.
