Johnny Wegener

Johnny Wegener is an experienced sales and partnerships professional currently serving as the Head of Partnerships at Rise, a platform facilitating the hiring, onboarding, and payment of globally distributed teams. Previously, Johnny held key sales roles at Deel, where responsibilities included Sales Team Lead for the US and Global Enterprise Account Executive, achieving notable sales performance in each quarter. Prior to Deel, Johnny contributed to Shopify as a Sales Development Representative on the first outbound SDR team, and at Spot Freight as a Senior Account Executive, where sales achievements included building a significant book of business. Johnny's career began as a Social Studies Teacher at Hamilton Southeastern Schools after earning a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Indiana University Bloomington.
