Rise AV is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing gender diversity across the AV, live events, and production technology industries. We work to break down the barriers women face through professional development, mentorship, visible representation, advocacy, and community-building.

Through our programmes, we are upskilling women, building their confidence, expanding their networks, and creating a strong support system of women who champion and uplift one another. 

We support women at every stage of their careers, from early-career development to management and executive leadership, helping to build a strong pipeline of future industry leaders.

Our work is critical as the AV industry faces a growing skills shortage, with an estimated 2.3 million unfilled roles projected by 2026. Yet women represent only 9% of the workforce and just 2% of technical roles, highlighting the significant opportunity to expand the industry’s talent pool.

Despite this opportunity, women still face barriers, including unconscious bias, limited access to mentorship and training, lack of visible role models, restricted career progression, and non-inclusive workplace cultures.

Our mission is to help women enter, succeed, and progress in the industry, increasing their representation and driving lasting systemic change. By welcoming all genders to mentor and support, we are building a stronger, more inclusive industry for everyone.
