Erick Rivera

Erick Rivera has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of data engineering and business analysis. Erick is currently employed at Rise Interactive as a Lead Data Engineer, where they manage a team and focuses on client onboarding and creating custom data reports using Python and Spark on AWS and Google Cloud. Prior to this role, Erick worked at Kellogg Company, where they served as the Lead Data Engineer for the Digital Transformation Unit. In this position, they managed a team of data engineers and contractors, overseeing projects related to data algorithms and structures on AWS for the LATAM region. Erick also has experience as a Senior Data Engineer, where they worked on data transformations and cleansing for the Forecast Machine Learning model implementation. Additionally, they held the role of Senior IT Commercial Business Analyst, where they translated business requirements into projects and implemented new commercial strategies and technological capabilities. Erick's earlier experience includes working as an IT SD & EDI Analyst.

Erick Rivera holds a Licentiate degree in Information Technology from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. In 2014 to 2017, they pursued another Licentiate degree, this time in Psychology, from UTEL Universidad. In 2020 to 2021, they completed a Master's degree in Transpersonal Psychology from the Universidad Antropológica de Guadalajara. Additionally, Erick has obtained certifications such as New Manager Foundations, Shane Snow on Storytelling, Transitioning from Individual Contributor to Manager, and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn.
