William Greszes

Director of Data at RISE

From 2016 to 2018, William Greszes worked as a Corps Member Advisor for Teach For America. In 2017, they became a Teacher Education Facilitator for the same organization. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Teacher for DeKalb County Schools. In 2019, they joined Teach For America as a Recruitment Manager, where they identified, cultivated, and recruited students committed to educational equity. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Director of Data at RISE, where they drive strategy and organizes team efforts through the management, analysis, and reporting of data.

William Greszes attended Vanderbilt University from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

RISE

RISE is a national nonprofit that educates and empowers the sports community to eliminate racial discrimination, champion social justice and improve race relations. Through partnerships and programs, we inspire leaders in sports to create positive change on matters of race and equality. RISE provides: Leadership programming for student-athletes, coaches and administrators at every level to equip them with the knowledge and skills to stand up against racism and advance the conversation around race relations. Opportunities for athletes to amplify their voice and make a difference as effective advocates to stand up against racism and promote social change. Events for fans in conjunction with college and pro sports games and public awareness campaigns encouraging the public to join with professional athletes and community leaders in taking a pledge to stand against racism.
