Aaron Gress has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Aaron currently serves as the Vice President of Sales at Risilience since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Business Development at Generac Power Systems from October 2021 to April 2023.

Aaron also worked as a Strategic Advisor at Joules Accelerator from September 2022 to December 2022. Aaron had a significant tenure at Tank Utility - Acquired by Generac, where they held multiple roles such as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Vice President of Business Development, and Director of Business Development. Aaron'srole at Tank Utility involved implementing smart monitors and cloud-based software solutions to improve fuel delivery company operations.

Before joining Tank Utility, Aaron worked at AmeriGas as a Corporate Development Manager from July 2014 to July 2016. Aaron gained experience in business development at Opower from June 2013 to August 2013 and as a Student Venture Capital Consultant at Claremont Creek Ventures from January 2013 to May 2013.

Aaron started their career at Developing World Markets as an Associate & Private Equity Group Founding Team Member from August 2007 to January 2010. Aaron also worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at KeyBanc Capital Markets from July 2005 to July 2007.

Aaron Gress has a strong educational background in business and environmental studies. From 2012 to 2014, they attended Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Energy and Environment and Finance. During the same period, they also enrolled at Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment as a non-degree seeking student. Additionally, in 2012, Aaron briefly studied at Harvard Business School as an auditing student, where they focused on Entrepreneurial Sales.

Prior to their graduate studies, Aaron earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management and Economics from DePauw University, which they completed from 2001 to 2005.

In terms of certifications, Aaron holds multiple credentials. Aaron obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) - Level 1 certification from the CFA Institute in June 2013. More recently, in 2023, they completed several online courses through Coursera, including ESG and Climate Change, OKR certification: Leadership and Goal Setting, and Renewable Energy and Green Building Entrepreneurship. In 2021, they also acquired the Frictionless Sales certification from HubSpot Academy.
