Levon Barsegian has a diverse range of work experience in various roles. Levon began their career as an intern in the Strategic Consulting Department at JLL, where they assisted with financial and real estate projects, prepared valuation models, and conducted research. Levon then worked as a Data Analyst at Nielsen NeuroFocus, where they analyzed data on advertising products' branding and sales effectiveness using EEG brain activity. Levon later founded a startup called Goalfriend and created an app to help people achieve their goals, presenting a business plan and financial model to investors. Levon also worked as a Quantitative Researcher/Data Scientist at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, assessing overvaluation risk for VC-backed unicorns using Python code and producing valuations for these companies. Levon then joined BP as an Economist, creating an ARIMA model for oil, gas, and coal consumption forecasting and analyzing internal datasets. Levon also worked at the Boston College Carroll School of Management as a Quantitative Researcher/Data Scientist, where they built factor models and extracted financial data using Python. Currently, Levon is employed at a Government-Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) as a Financial Engineer at Investments & Capital Markets Technology, focusing on risk modeling and business analytics for the GSE's vast assets under management. Additionally, Levon has experience as an Associate Data Analyst at RiskSpan.

Levon Barsegian has pursued a significant amount of education in the field of finance and economics. Levon has completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) studies, with a focus on Finance, at the Boston College Carroll School of Management. In addition, Levon holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from the same institution.

During their educational journey, Levon also had the opportunity to expand their knowledge of finance through an exchange program at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Here, they gained expertise in areas such as banking, corporate finance, and securities law.

Prior to their studies at Boston College, Levon completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics at both the New Economic School and the Higher School of Economics.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Levon has obtained several certifications. These include the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification from FINRA, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification and the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the Tableau for Data Scientists certification from LinkedIn.
