Stephen Chavez has a range of work experience beginning in 2012 as a Customer Service Representative at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Stephen then became a Computer Security Intern at the same university in 2014 and ultimately worked there until 2016. In the same year, they started working as a Cyber Security Consultant, a self-employed position. Stephen also worked as a Contract Software Engineer at SpiderOak before becoming the Chief Security Officer at TechSlayers in 2020. In 2019, they were named Chief Information Security Officer at Risktronics, where they worked until the present. Stephen will eventually transition to Start9 in 2022 as a Software Engineer. Chavez has a range of positions in the tech industry with a focus on security.
