John Boothroyd is a hands-on Lead Software Engineer and CTO with over 20 years of experience in designing, developing, delivering, and supporting low-latency, high-performance trading solutions. Currently a Trading System Consultant at RISQ, John has previously held senior roles at Trigon Trading and BT, among others. They have extensive experience in agile development, working with stakeholders to meet business objectives, and are proficient in multiple programming languages including C++, Python, and Rust. John holds a BEng (Hons) in Software Engineering from The University of Manchester.
