Moritz Heide

Vice President Digital Operations at Rittal

Moritz Heide has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Moritz started their career at Rittal GmbH & Co. KG, where they worked as a Manufacturing Process Engineer and later as a Project Leader. In these roles, they focused on optimizing global plant processes, improving production planning and control, and serving as a liaison between production management and IT. Moritz then joined Groz-Beckert as an International Production Engineer before returning to Rittal GmbH & Co. KG. At Rittal, they played a key role in building and leading a department for digital project management in Production Automation, Ramp-Up, and ongoing support of a new I4.0 plant. In their most recent position as Vice President of Digital Operations, they are responsible for overseeing digital operations within the company.

Moritz Heide completed their A levels at Gymnasium Netphen from 1999 to 2008. Moritz then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Engineering (BBAE) from TH Mittelhessen, graduating in 2011. Following this, they obtained a Master's degree in product design and process optimization (MSc) from Cologne University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2014. In terms of additional certifications, Moritz Heide obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in January 2023.
