Mark Ong

Mark Ong has extensive work experience in sales and leadership roles in the engineering industry. Mark is currently the Sales Director for Asia Pacific at Rittmeyer AG, where they oversee sales in the Hydropower and Water Management sectors. Prior to that, they served as the Country General Manager for HBM, leading a team for ASEAN and Oceania in various business areas, including Test & Measurement and Industrial Measuring Systems. Mark also worked as a Sales Leader at SPX FLOW Technology Singapore, handling sales responsibilities for Power & Energy projects in Southeast Asia. Mark held the position of Regional Sales & Marketing Leader at Boerger Pumps Asia Pte Ltd, overseeing the overall sales and marketing strategies. Earlier in their career, they were a Regional Sales Manager for IDEX Corporation and held various sales and marketing roles at ITT Fluid Technology. Mark started their career as a Sales Engineer at Winston Engineering Corp Engineering Pte Ltd.

From 2009 to 2012, they attended Strathclyde Business School, where they pursued an MBA degree with a specialization in Scenario Planning, Strategy Analysis & Evaluation. Their field of study was Marketing.

Between 1996 and 1998, Mark Ong studied at the University of London, completing a BSc degree in Management. The program had a focus on International & Comparative Perspective, Sociology, and Managerial Economics.

From 2002 to 2005, they enrolled in the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, where they earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. The degree covered areas such as Marketing Analysis & Decision, Planning & Control.

In 1993 and 1994, Mark Ong attended Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Engineering. The diploma included courses in Operations Research and Engineering Economy.
