RiutBag is the safe backpack for urban travel. With all the zips against your back, the RiutBag provides data security and peace of mind on the daily commute, city travel abroad for work and on holiday. It holds up to a 15" laptop, A4 documents straight and comes in two models: RiutBag R10, 10 litre super slim day bag, and the R15, 15 litre model with extra packing capacity.

Pronounced "riot", Riut stands for Revolution in user thinking. This is the user-focussed  and disruptive design philosophy which led its founder, Sarah Giblin, to revolve the conventional backpack by 180 degrees to create the RiutBag.

Sarah left her office job in March 2014 to make the RiutBag a reality. With no background in textiles, she prototyped her idea in 7 months and over 1000 people crowdfunded the first production run on Kickstarter that year. She then manufactured her first production run, asked the first RiutBag users to test them. Using their feedback she prototyped two new designs and asked Kickstarter for support again. In November 2015 1500 backers raised over £150,000 to start the company in earnest.
