James Moss has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. James'smost recent position was as an Application Developer at Rival Systems since September 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at SouthLand Trading from October 2013 to September 2017.

From 2010 to 2013, Moss worked at Toji Trading Group LLC. as a Trading Research specialist, where they developed OMX Market Data feeds and Order Execution interfaces for various organizations, using programming techniques to reduce message processing latency.

Before that, from 2007 to 2010, they were a Systems Engineer at Fox River Financial Resources, where they developed price feeds and market execution systems for multiple financial institutions, as well as trading applications for the bond yield curve.

From 2003 to 2007, Moss held the position of Executive Vice President at Red Sky Securities, where they developed interfaces and server-side applications for various financial markets, including NASDAQ, eSpeed, and BrokerTec.

Prior to that, from 1994 to 2003, they served as an Executive VP at Bank of America and NationsBank, CRT - Chicago Research and Trading. In these roles, Moss was responsible for managing IT operations for global corporate investment banking groups, developing long-term plans, and overseeing a team of 45 individuals across multiple offices worldwide.

Earlier in their career, from 1989 to 1994, Moss held technical and managerial positions at Siemens Gammasonics and Loral Medical Imaging, where they were involved in deploying medical imaging systems and messaging platforms.

Before entering the corporate world, Moss worked as a software engineer consultant from 1988 to 1989 for various companies, providing software development expertise.

James Moss completed their education in a chronological order. James attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a degree in OSM (Operations and Systems Management) with a focus on Business & Computer Science. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at DePaul University from 1989 to 1991. In December 2019, they obtained a certification in "C++ Best Practices for Developers" from LinkedIn.
