Philip Chung

Philip Chung is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing mobile and multi-platform applications. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Rive since May 2023, Philip previously held the position of Senior Front End Engineer at Amazon from October 2019 to May 2023, where significant contributions included leading the development of a program for prototyping new features for Amazon Music. Prior to Amazon, roles included Principal Software Engineer at Verizon Media, where Philip managed video experiences for iOS and Android, and at Verizon, contributing to the go90 mobile application. Early career experiences involved software development at Intel Corporation, focusing on user interface integration for set-top box projects, and as President and Software Architect at Philter Design Studios, overseeing diverse application development including MLB At Bat for Windows Phone. Philip holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology/Neuroscience from the University of Alberta and a degree in Digital Media & Technology from NAIT.
