Jess Gerfen

Jess Gerfen is an experienced educator with a strong background in special educational needs. Currently serving as the Trust SENDCo at River Learning Trust since September 2022, Jess previously held the position of Assistant Headteacher at The Gallery Trust from March 2020 to August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a SEN Teacher and Early Years and Key Stage 1 Lead at Oxfordshire County Council, and as a SEN Teacher and Key Stage Leader at West Berkshire Council. Jess began their career as a Newly Qualified Teacher at Oxfordshire County Council. Jess holds a Level 7 Apprenticeship in Senior Leadership and a Master of Education in Schools Based Leadership and Management from the National College of Education and the University of Buckingham, respectively, along with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education from Oxford Brookes University.
