Colleen Walters

Colleen Walters has a diverse range of work experience in the environmental field. Colleen is currently working as the Delaware River Basin Program Manager at River Network since February 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, where they held several roles including Manager of the Columbia Basin Program from August 2018 to December 2019, Coordinator of the Western Water Program from December 2015 to August 2018, and Grants Administrator from June 2014 to December 2015. Before joining the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Colleen worked as a Clean Water Program Intern at American Rivers from November 2013 to May 2014. Colleen'searlier experience includes working as a Staff Environmental Scientist at Moriarty Environmental Solutions, Inc from November 2010 to August 2013, where they were involved in project management, consulting services for the remediation of fuel-oil contaminated sites, and assisting with site investigations. Colleen started their career as a Laboratory Aide at Coastal Carolina University from September 2008 to May 2010.

Colleen Walters completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marine Sciences at Coastal Carolina University from 2007 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Ecological Restoration at the University of Florida from 2016 to 2020. Prior to attending Coastal Carolina University, they briefly attended East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2006 and 2007, but their degree and field of study during that time are unspecified.
