Erin Kanzig is a River Programs Policy & Research Associate at River Network since May 2021, where responsibilities include developing and managing the State Policy Hub, focusing on state-level drinking water and environmental justice policies, as well as researching federal policy issues. Previous roles at River Network encompass positions as a Fellow in River Programs and Clean Water Policy, conducting research and communications related to drinking water policies. Other experiences include volunteering as a Data Entry Specialist with the University of Oxford's Covid-19 Government Response Tracker, researching energy burdens at the Michigan Environmental Justice Coalition, and serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University. Erin holds a Master of Public Policy from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology-Environmental Studies from Whitman College.
