Dorian Bugeja

Dorian Bugeja has a wealth of work experience. Dorian started their career as a Student at the University of Malta in 2008, then worked as a Software Tester at setcom in 2010 and as External Relations at the Malta Communication Authority in 2008. Dorian then joined KPMG Crimsonwing in 2011, where they held the roles of Technical Architect, Senior Analyst Programmer, Analyst Programmer, and Programmer. In 2016, they worked as a Big Data Engineer at Betsson Group, and in 2017 they worked as a Big Data Engineer at Cerberus Technology. Finally, in 2019 they joined River Tech plc as Head of Data and Lead Big Data Engineer.

Dorian Bugeja obtained a B.Sc(Hons) ICT in Computer Science and Artificial Inteligence from the University of Malta between 2008 and 2011. In 2015 and 2016, Dorian obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Artificial Intelligence (Big Data) from the University of Malta. Dorian also obtained a number of certifications from Microsoft, including MCPD: SharePoint Developer 2010 (2013), MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional (2013), MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 (2013), MCTS: Microsoft Biztalk Server 2010 (2012), and MCTS: SharePoint 2010, Application Development (2012). Additionally, Dorian obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification from Amazon Web Services in 2020.
