The River Vale Fire Department is an organization of dedicated volunteers who are committed to serving the community by protecting life, property, and the environment through prevention, education, and fire services. We also sponsor school scholarships, town sports, and participate in fundraisers and town events throughout the year.

The River Vale Volunteer Fire Department is always looking for new members for our regular ranks (18+ years of age) and our junior ranks (14-17 years of age).
If you are interested in helping your neighbors and community, stop by the South Firehouse (330 Rivervale Road) on any Monday night between 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.; or call the Office of the Chief at 201-666-2346 x1200 and leave your name and contact information for a return call.
