Jaap Veerman Ac

Jaap Veerman AC has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jaap currently holds the position of Global Director Sales Finance at Riverbed Technology. Prior to this role, they worked as the Global Sales Finance Manager at Aternity, a company spun out of Riverbed Technology. In their role at Aternity, Jaap served as the trusted Finance Business Partner to the CRO, CMO, and Sales Leadership team.

Before joining Aternity, Jaap spent several years at Riverbed Technology, where they held various finance roles. Jaap started as an FP&A Analyst for Sales & Marketing in the EMEA region and eventually became a Sales & Marketing Finance Manager. In this role, they established and grew the Sales Finance function in the EMEA region, providing finance support to sales, channel sales, and marketing leaders.

Jaap also has experience outside the technology industry. Jaap served as a Boardmember for PR & Sponsoring at AH'78 and owned their own company, Repetitive Interim Services. Additionally, they have worked in interim finance positions at companies such as Merck Sharp & Dohme, Sandoz, Polycom, NetApp, and Paperlinx. Throughout their career, Jaap has demonstrated strong financial expertise, including budgeting, financial reporting, and reconciliation.

Jaap Veerman AC completed their education in the following chronological order:

- From 1985 to 1991, they attended erfgooierscollege, where they obtained their VWO degree.

- From 1991 to 1996, they studied at Inholland University of Applied Sciences, earning a Bsc degree in Accountancy.

- In 1995-1996, they pursued additional studies at Inholland University of Applied Sciences in the field of Business Economics, obtaining a Bsc as well.

- From 1997 to 1998, they attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), specializing in Accountancy.

- From 2007 to 2008, Jaap enrolled in the Master Degree Program: MA Controlling at Avans University of Applied Sciences, focusing on the Leergang Controller module.

- Lastly, from 2008 to 2009, they completed the MA Controlling program at Avans University of Applied Sciences, with a special focus on General Control.
