Jim Gargan

Jim Gargan currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Riverbed Technology since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jim held several senior positions including Senior Vice President of Hardware, Cloud, and Industry Marketing at Oracle from January 2016 to July 2020, and Vice President and General Manager at Avaya from August 2014 to December 2015. Jim’s extensive experience also includes various leadership roles at IBM from February 2005 to August 2014, encompassing Vice President of IBM Consulting, Vice President of Demand Generation, and Vice President Business Line Executive for Servers, Networking, and Storage. Jim Gargan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Business Administration from New Hampshire College.
