Mal Down

Mal Down is a seasoned ICT professional with over 20 years of experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Design, and Management. Currently serving as Director of Channels & Alliances for A/NZ & Asia South at Riverbed Technology since May 2022, Mal has held several strategic positions, including General Manager at GB Restorations, where a strong passion for classic cars and automotive restoration facilitated support for car owners in their restoration projects. Previous roles include Strategic Alliance Manager at Optus and Service Provider Alliances Director at Riverbed Technology, where efforts focused on developing key partnerships in the A/NZ Service Provider market. Mal’s expertise extends to security solutions, having worked as a Senior Consultant at Radware and in various roles at Alphawest, Telstra, and AAPT. Mal holds a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Plymouth.
