Stephen Potter

Stephen Potter is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in transaction advisory and M&A consulting. Currently serving as Managing Director at Riveron since September 2023, Potter previously held the position of Transaction Advisory Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal from September 2014 to January 2022, specializing in pre-investment due diligence for private equity firms. Prior to that, Potter was a Manager in M&A consulting at KPMG US, performing similar due diligence for private equity and corporate buyers, and also worked as an Audit Senior Associate, providing audits for a variety of clients. Potter began a career in finance as an Audit Intern at KPMG. Academically, Potter holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Davidson College.
