Nathan Downs

Nathan Downs is a highly experienced software engineering professional with a robust background in technical leadership and innovative development. Currently serving as Software Engineering Lead at Riverse since April 2023, Nathan oversees technical aspects, including the carbon credit registry and a digital MRV platform. Previously, Nathan held positions such as Senior Software Engineer at Good Steps, where a proof-of-concept web application was developed, and at Twitter, where automation of workflows and support for Twemoji were key contributions. As CTO at Opus for Work, Nathan built infrastructure and an SMS-based CRM tool, while at IMVU, Nathan served as Technical Director, leading significant projects including website redevelopment and game development. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University.
