Maxine Cousens

Maxine Cousens is currently the Group Director of People & Culture at Riverside, leveraging 20 years of generalist HR experience to drive organizational transformation and cultural change. Previously, Maxine served as a Senior Organisational Effectiveness Leader at Co-op, where they managed HR services and developed key policies for the Bank. Their tenure at The Co-operative Bank plc included leading cultural transformation efforts and enhancing employee engagement across a large workforce. Maxine also held various leadership roles across several organizations, including Swinton Group and Royal Liver Assurance, contributing to significant improvements in HR operations and organizational performance. Maxine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
