Peter Davies

Peter Davies is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and governance roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Wales Council for Voluntary Action since November 2022, Peter also fulfills multiple trustee and community roles, including being a Trustee at the Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development and a Community Custodian at Riversimple. An Honorary Professor of Practice at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Peter's past leadership positions include Chair of the Customer Challenge Group for Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, Chair of the Wales Coast and Seas Partnership, and Chair of Size of Wales, a charity focused on combating climate change. Peter previously served as Chair of the Climate Change Commission for Wales and Sustainable Futures Commissioner for Wales. Educational credentials include a BScEcon in Geography and Social Administration from Swansea University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Business and Education from the University of Leicester, and a PGCE in Geography from Cardiff University.
