Michael Mudd

Michael Mudd has extensive work experience in the field of safety, primarily in the aggregate producers industry. Michael began their career in 1989 as a Photojournalist at KWQC-TV6 (NBC) and later worked as a News Photojournalist at WQAD-TV (ABC) until 2008. In 2008, they transitioned into the safety field as a Safety Engineer at RiverStone Group, Inc. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing safety training, audits, and programs. Michael held various positions within the company, including Corporate Safety Manager and Corporate Safety Director. Additionally, they served on safety committees for multiple organizations such as the Missouri Limestone Producers Association, Illinois Association of Aggregate Producers, and Iowa Limestone Producers Association. Michael also served as a Committee Chair for the Missouri Limestone Producers Association. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated a strong commitment to safety and has gained expertise in safety protocols and regulations.

Michael Mudd's education history includes two main periods of study. From 1984 to 1987, they attended Black Hawk College, where they earned an AS & AA degree in Mass Communications. Following this, from 1987 to 1989, they enrolled in Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, specializing in Mass Communications, although they did not obtain a degree during this time.

Recently, in 2021, they completed the OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Certificate offered by the US Department of Labor OSHA.
