Iván Alonso

Iván Alonso has extensive experience in the financial and contractual landscape of Mexico’s energy sector, specializing in asset management and project finance. They have successfully contributed to project economic valuation, M&A analysis, and budget forecasting over a career spanning several years. Previously, Iván held positions such as FP&A Senior Associate at Saavi Energía and Financial & Strategic Planning Analyst at Jaguar Exploración y Producción, where they achieved significant improvements in operational efficiency and financial performance. Currently, Iván serves as a Senior Asset Manager for the LatAm Renewables Platform at Riverstone Holdings while pursuing advanced studies in cost management and business foundations. An advocate of discipline and perseverance, Iván is also training for a half Ironman distance triathlon.
