GROW Residential Program Coordinator at Riverview School

As the GROW Program Coordinator, Chis works closely with the Director of Student Life to ensure efficient and effective program delivery. He provides direct supervision, oversight and training of residential supervisors and works in collaboration with the MS/HS Program Coordinator, to oversee hiring needs in the department. He also ensures consistent protocols and guidelines are in place for the successful teaching of students in the areas of social skills, safety, boundaries, and independent living skills, as well as ensures that the dorms are meeting all safety and health requirements.

Chris has been working with children since 2003. He began his career at the Nauset Youth Alliance and worked his way up to become the Site/Travel Coordinator for their Eddy Program. In 2006, he came to Riverview School as a Dorm Assistant and has worked in the Residential Department as an Assistant, Dorm Coordinator and Residential Supervisor. He is also a certified Title IX Investigator.

Chris resides in Barnstable with his family; two daughters named Kylie and Eliana and their Havanese puppy, Maddie. He spends his free time playing with his daughters, and staying active by exercising, training and teaching Muay Thai and Boxing. Chris spends as much time as possible outside and working around the house.
