Fred Poses

Fred Poses is a prominent leader and advocate, currently serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of Understood since 2018, focusing on supporting the 1 in 5 individuals in the U.S. affected by learning and attention issues. Additionally, Fred holds a trustee position at Riverview School and has served on the board of Nutrition21 since 2012. Prior experience includes a significant tenure as Chairman of the Board at the National Center for Learning Disabilities from 1998 to 2018, as well as leadership roles such as CEO and Partner at Ascend Performance Materials and board member positions at various organizations including Chesapeake Energy, Central Synagogue, TE Connectivity, Raytheon, and 92nd Street Y. Fred Poses completed education at New York University.
