James Marks is an entrepreneur, designer, and programmer who bootstrapped, raised funds, built teams, and sold companies, with a focus on empowering the creative class and building inclusive, durable businesses. They were Co-Founder and CEO of Whiplash Merchandising Inc. from 2010 to 2019 and later served as Senior Vice President of Whiplash eCommerce. They founded VGKIDS (1997–2011) and served as Advisor at Two Boxes (2023–2025). They currently serve as CTO & Co-Founder of Rivora (2025–Present) and were CEO & Co-Founder of TRIVIAL (2021–2025) and Co-Host of Unboxing e-Commerce (2023–2025).
