Abel Bernabeu

Abel Bernabeu is an accomplished LLVM compiler engineer currently at Rivos Inc. since February 2025, following a leadership role as LLVM compiler team lead at Esperanto Technologies, Inc. from July 2018 to January 2025. With extensive experience in software engineering, Bernabeu has contributed to machine learning applications, developed Real-Time Logic (RTL) designs, and directed graphics and machine learning initiatives as Chair of the Graphics and ML Special Interest Group at RISC-V International (August 2021 - July 2023). A background in software and graphics development spans roles at prominent companies, including ARM, Intel Corporation, ZiiLABS, Imagination Technologies, and DYLVIAN. Education credentials include a postgraduate course in Artificial Intelligence from UPC School and a degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat d'Alacant.
