Feng Qiu has a diverse work experience in engineering and research. They are currently working as a CPU DV Engineer at Rivos Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, Feng Qiu worked as a Team Member at Lafayette Formula Electric Vehicle from 2019 to 2020, where they designed circuit boards and created firmware for the vehicle interface. They also attended the Formula SAE Virtual Presentation during this time. Before that, Feng Qiu worked as a Research Assistant at Lafayette College in 2019, where they designed and built a game program in Matlab that detected EEG signals and conducted experiments to verify the potential of brain-computer interaction using motor imagery. They also presented their work at the Academic Research Committee Poster Session in Fall 2019. In 2018, Feng Qiu worked as a Research Assistant at Lafayette College, where they conducted research on mobile GPU utilization, built programs in C++ to monitor GPU power and performance, and designed efficient frequency scaling algorithms.
Feng Qiu pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Lafayette College from 2016 to 2020.
