Joyce L.

Joyce L. is a System Hardware Engineer at Rivos Inc. since July 2023, specializing in platform hardware. Previously, Joyce worked at Google as a Hardware Engineer, where the design and testing of the 2023 Education Chromebook's reference design were achieved. Joyce also engaged in undergraduate research at National Taiwan University, focusing on a Sparse Matrix-Matrix Multiplication Accelerator, implementing Gustavson’s algorithm in Verilog, and conducting a survey on sparse matrix representations. Earlier experience includes a Product Management Internship at 優護平台股份有限公司, where Joyce designed UI/UX for a sarcopenia prevention app, and a Hardware Internship at Google, contributing to a device for voltage output selection in ChromeOS. Joyce holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
