Scott began their career in 1987 as a Computer Services Programmer/Analyst, Info Center Analyst, Computer Engineer, and UNIX System Admin for Arizona Public Service (APS). In 1997, they became a Systems Manager (Windows) for Micron Technology. In 2004, they worked as a Contractor: System Administrator for HP. In 2005, they were a Customer Service Rep (Parking & Transportation) for Boise State University. Scott also worked as an Ice Hockey Official for Independent Contractor: USA Hockey from 2000-2007. In 2007, they began working for Steton Technology, Inc. as a Workflow Admin, Team Lead - Customer Service, and Customer Service Representative. In 2016, they became the DevOps Manager / Workflow Admin for RizePoint (formerly Steton Technology, Inc.).
Scott Dobrusky obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems, Accounting, and Spanish from Brigham Young University-Hawaii in 1986. Scott then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Administrative Systems & Business Education from Utah State University in 1987. Additionally, they hold certifications from Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified System Administrator: Messaging (MCSA: Messaging), and Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).
