Ted Kaplan has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Ted started their career as a Senior Scientist at Stanford Telecommunications in 1987 and continued in that role until 1997. During this time, they gained valuable expertise in the field. In 1997, they joined Comsat as a Senior Scientist and worked there until 1999. Ted then moved on to RKF Engineering Solutions, LLC in 2001, where they were appointed as the CEO. Currently, they serve as the CEO at RKF Engineering Solutions, LLC. In 2014, Ted co-founded Kythera Software, Inc. and is currently in the role of Co-Founder. Overall, Ted has held various senior positions throughout their career, contributing significantly to the organizations they have worked for.

Ted Kaplan pursued their education starting from 1978 to 1982 at the University of Pennsylvania. During this period, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). Ted then continued their academic journey at The George Washington University from 1982 to 1987. Here, they earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a specialization in Communications.
