Heather Nelson

Heather Nelson is an experienced logistics and sales professional with a strong background in transportation management and account development. Currently serving as the Director of National Accounts for the Northeast at R+L Carriers since April 2017, Heather previously held the position of Director of Sales for New England at Aries Global Logistics, where the focus was on logistics management and client negotiations. Earlier roles included Transportation Consultant at Liberty International and Market Development Account Executive at FedEx, where Heather successfully managed a substantial portfolio of accounts and exceeded sales targets. Notably, during the tenure at FedEx, sales efforts led to a significant increase in performance metrics. Heather also brings managerial experience from a prior role as Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where operational oversight included multiple locations and staff management. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Travel & Tourism Management from Johnson & Wales University.
