Jeff Layer, AFSB, AU, is the AVP of Underwriting - Surety at RLI Insurance Company, where they have held various positions since 2007, demonstrating expertise in transactional commercial surety across multiple regions. Prior to this role, Jeff gained foundational experience as a Student Trainee at Caterpillar from 2003 to 2006. Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Illinois State University, as well as an Associate's degree from Illinois Central College.
