John Richmond

John Richmond currently serves as Claim Director for the Major Case Unit in Casualty at RLI Insurance Company, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, John was a Managing Trial Attorney at Nationwide from September 2017 to November 2023, and served as Director of Liability Claims at Vanliner Insurance Company from August 2015 to August 2017, managing litigated and catastrophic claims across various sectors. John also held the position of Liability Claims Manager at AEGIS Professional Services, acting as Senior Attorney with a focus on legal disputes for small businesses, and was a Partner at Husch Blackwell LLP for nearly two decades, specializing in product liability cases. John Richmond earned a Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1996 and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Louis University in 1993.
