Renee Charles

Renee Charles is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations, media relations, and executive communications. Currently serving as the Director Of Communications at RLI Insurance Company since June 2022, Renee previously held the position of Executive Director of Public Relations & University Spokesperson at Bradley University for nearly a decade. Additional roles include Director of Media Relations and Public Affairs at The Heartland Partnership, various anchor positions in television news, and early media experience in radio. Renee's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Non-Profit Leadership from Bradley University and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Western Illinois University. Notably, Renee was crowned Miss Illinois USA in 2000, representing the state in the Miss USA competition while engaging in motivational speaking.
